LIZ THIGPEN
From the South Shore of Boston, Liz has spent the last 15+ years crafting designs that are as impactful as they are beautiful. An art director by trade and a creative by heart, Liz combines her love of kids, animals, nature, and the mysteries of black holes to bring fresh, down-to-earth perspectives to everything she touches.
When she’s not pushing pixels or sketching ideas, you’ll find her chasing inspiration in the woods, by the ocean, or wherever the wild things are—furry or otherwise. She’s a firm believer that design should do and feel good, whether that’s creating something meaningful for the environment, people, or fin/furred/feathered friends.
Looking for a collaborator who’s passionate, versatile, and always up for a creative challenge? Liz is your person—just don’t try to get her to explain the math behind black holes. She’s still working on that.
(Nice people and purposeful work get bonus points.)
YELP REVIEWS ABOUT LIZ:
"Liz is great. No make that great great. At every stage. From coming up with ideas to making things look wonderful and different to selling the ideas to tough clients to making sure everything is produced beautifully, while being pleasant and positive all along the way. Regardless if it's a poster, TV commercial, a complex website, hangtag or a no-win favor for a client. Liz is a cannot-do-better hire for any job." - Jerry Cronin, Creative Director/Copywriter
"Hire her. Now. Liz is the real deal. A great conceptual thinker that’s smart, hard working, and thoughtful in everything she does. She loves to work collaboratively but also thrives in grabbing the reins. She’s a team player with an amazing design sense. Flexible but focused. One of the most talented designers I’ve had the privilege of working with. No project is too big or too small. Hire her. Now." - Neil Martin, Creative Director/Designer
"Liz is a rare breed of designer. In addition to being amazingly talented she is also blindingly fast. She's an athlete when it comes to design - which speaks to not only her speed and talent but also her attitude. Working with her is an absolute treat. Just don't play her in fantasy football because you will lose your money. And don't think you can eat more Papa Gino's pizza than her. You can't. It's futile (and might I add emasculating) to even try."
- Collin Sheehan, ACD/Copywriter
"Liz Albrecht is one of the most talented designers I've had the pleasure of working with. She helped us launch many brands with fresh modern designs including KEEL vodka, Back9 Network and Foster Grant. Her work was always a standout for clients."
